Backyard Birding
Frank Doherty will be here to talk about how to attract a variety of species to your backyard. He will also share his knowledge on one of his favorite topics, “Patch Birding.”

Frank Doherty has been birding for 60 years. He was a Naturalist for the State of Ohio and Manager of the Walden Waterfowl Refuge, has co-authored two text books and taught at NCSU. He currently lives in Wendell where he works closely with the Parks and Rec Group. Free event. FILLING UP FAST! Create your own unique succulent planter while you learn about (AND TASTE) clean crafted wines! Mishaun Coates from Scout and Cellar will be here to introduce you to several wines that are organically and sustainably grown without added sugar or chemicals. All materials for Make & Take are provided! You may also purchase tickets by cash or check in store to avoid service fees. Space is limited and you MUST purchase a ticket to reserve your spot.
